When you need to steal secure data from a CORP and you don’t have the luxury of doing it as a downtime activity, you can attempt a HACKING RUN.

This requires direct physical access to a CORP’s network. You’ll need to be inside the building. You will likely be trying to do this while under fire.

HACKiNG_RUN is a rules supplement for CY_BORG designed to give you the rules to manage that classic cyberpunk high-tension scenario of a hacker desperately trying to break into a secure network while their fellow punks do their best to fend off CORP security long enough to give them a chance.

HACKiNG_RUN is a simple push-your-luck style mini-game that hacking player plays on their turn during combat using several D6s. Do you push your luck and try and get the information quickly, but risk alerting too much ICE and getting BOOTED? Or do you play conservatively, but risk still being jacked in when reinforcements arrive? I hope your friends brought enough clips to last. This supplement was designed for CY_BORG but with minimal effort could work for any OSR game about hacking, punks, and hating capitalism.
